Service Description

The Cooljet device utilizes plasma energy which has been generated at a lower temperature in comparison to ‘hot’ plasma (hence the terminology ‘cold’ plasma). It is primarily used to treat the skin without causing any thermal damage and in addition, there is no numbing nor downtime. Using CAP technology (Cold Atmospheric Plasma) which was first used in the medical profession in the 1960’s, Cooljet sterilizes the skin by killing bacteria and also opens the micro-channels of the skin to aid deeper absorption of any low molecular product applied. This gentle approach allows for either great one-off facials or for the effective treatment of skin disorders such as; acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis etc.
